Let's Talk About It

Heal It, & Transform It!

Welcome to Steele Evolving Psychological Services with Dr. Cheronda Steele. Therapy with Dr. Steele is a collaborative, compassionate process designed to help you heal, grow, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been overshadowed by stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or life transitions.

Effective therapy will help facilitate your healing process and help you discover (or rediscover) a life of meaning and purpose — one filled with authentic connections, balance, growth, enthusiasm, awe, beauty, and peace. Together, we’ll explore what’s been holding you back, make sense of your experiences, and build the emotional tools you need to move forward with clarity and confidence.

About Dr. Steele

I am a licensed psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with adults in every stage of life — people navigating complicated relationships, demanding work lives, major transitions, and the search for clarity, healing, or a renewed sense of purpose. I’m deeply committed to creating a space that feels safe, affirming, and respectful of all aspects of who you are — including your race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious or spiritual beliefs, and abilities. My passion has always been working with adults who are navigating challenging life situations, seeking change, or trying to reconnect with themselves in a more meaningful way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to schedule a phone consultation first?

A free 15‑minute phone consultation is available if you’d like to learn more about my services, my current availability, or whether we might be a good fit. The easiest way to get started is to submit your contact information so I can reach out to you directly.

You’re also welcome to schedule a phone consultation via the online scheduling system if that’s more convenient for you. Please know that I may have additional consultation times that don’t appear in the online system. If you don’t see a time that works for you, feel free to contact me and I can let you know about other options.

How do I make an appointment, and how long are the appointments?

Your first appointment will be an intake assessment, which includes an in‑depth exploration of your concerns, your mental health history, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy. This session also gives you space to ask questions and get a sense of how we might work together. Intake appointments last approximately 75 minutes.

Ongoing therapy sessions are 55 minutes.

If you’re a new client, the first step is to schedule a free 15‑minute phone consultation. This helps us determine whether my services are a good fit for your needs. You can submit your contact information or email me directly to set up a consultation.

What insurance do you accept?

I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) and private pay.

If you have a different insurance provider, you may still be able to use your benefits by submitting an out‑of‑network claim. Many clients receive reimbursement for a portion of their session fees, depending on their plan. I’m happy to provide the documentation you need to support that process.
