About Dr. Steele
I am a licensed psychologist with over 10 years of experience working with adults in various stages of life, from traditionally aged college students to retired seniors. I completed my graduate training in Chicago, Illinois, at Roosevelt University, an APA accredited program, where I earned both a master’s degree and doctorate degree in clinical psychology. I am trained to work with a wide range of clinical issues, and have received additional training with mindfulness approaches, trauma, grief, and loss. I have experience providing both long-term and short-term culturally sensitive therapy, utilizing a variety of evidenced based treatment interventions tailored to each person’s needs.
I also have many years of experience providing preventative psycho-educational presentations on a range of mental health related topics, with a particular focus on self-care and stress management. My passion has always been and continues to be working with adults who have encountered challenging life situations, are attempting to change their lives for the better, and evolve.
